In an op-ed in Scientific American, the Day One Project newly unveiled leadership council calls for the next administration to make a renewed commitment to invest in science and technology. The nonpartisan leadership council, which is chaired by John Holdren and Susan Eisenhower, includes nine leaders with diverse backgrounds in science and technology who seek to support efforts to renew a commitment to science and technology expertise in government and the policymaking process.
