Tiffany Richardson
Tiffany Richardson is a consultant with a Ph.D. in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. During her Ph.D., she studied Type 1 diabetes and how the pancreatic islet environment affects its ability to secrete hormones to control blood glucose levels in healthy and diabetes settings. She aims to make healthcare more accessible through her research and consulting work.
Tiffany Richardson is developing a proposal to curb high and inequitable insulin costs, by creating policy recommendations to promote the development of cheaper insulin biosimilars and increase the transparency of the complex insulin supply chain which aims to break the price-gouging monopoly on the insulin supply.
