Michelle Govani is Director of the Moonshot Accelerator with the Arizona State University Foundation. She leads programs designed to provide specialized support and coaching to enhance the competitiveness of ASU teams who are advancing complex, interdisciplinary and often cross-unit proposals in philanthropic moonshot competitions at the 8- and 9- figure scale. In addition, she teaches and advances her applied scholarship in science and technology policy, public engagement, and public value science as an affiliate of ASU’s Consortium for Science, Policy, and Outcomes and the School of the Future of Innovation in Society. Michelle earned her BS in Biology from the University of Iowa and her MS and PhD in Biology and Society from Arizona State University.
